Initially I only undertook small building works for example building garden walls etc. This has progressed to house extensions. I am a hard working and honest person who always puts the customer first and finishes jobs on time.
Latest review:Groundwork & Foundations-Very good very efficient kept us up to date on when work would start and what he needed us to do. On the day the shuttering was in place and the concrete pour went without a hitch. Price was really affordable as well compared to some we got Would certainly use again for future projects

Latest review:Groundwork & Foundations-The job was to form a new gravel parking area out of a front lawn, remove all soil / grass and to create a new driveway entrance across the pavement with new drop kerb. John came to see the job and we agreed a reasonable price and the job was completed within a week to a good standard. The council inspected the work to the pavement and the job passed inspection no problem. I would highly recommend John / Active Drives.

Latest review:Extensions-Very happy with the build. Everything went smoothly, Shaun came to our house to discuss the initial quote. What surprised me was Shaun had a full breakdown quote ready the first time we met, by using the online planning with the required work. The final quote had increased but that was due to us wanting extra items such as exterior light and composite doors plus painting. No hidden or extra charges. Everything went as agreed and on time, although the weather did hold the build back on some days. The only trade that was a letdown was the painter, not by the quality of work but reliability, subcontracted and Shaun was quick to sort the issue out right away. Every trade was on time and did the work as agreed to spec. The level of professionalism is what surprised me the most from each trade. From the men doing the ground work and foundations to the electrician. As the customer myself and my parents were spoken to with respect from all the tradesmen and they took their time to explain when we had questions. Huge thank you to Graham the electrician who advised us on the best positions for the exterior spotlights. There was a delay in getting the completion certificate as our build was completed just before lockdown but we have had everything signed and checked by the council. Overall the porch with wc extension looks even better than we could imagine and I would recommend this company to anyone looking to get the same type of work. Thank you Shaun and everyone at S.ewing.

Latest review:Groundwork & Foundations-Delighted! Everything well organised from start to finish in time specified. Ken's team arrived on time, started the job and worked on through to create a fabulous pathway/patio area around the property. It was all undertaken by good natured guys. I think they appreciated the transformation their efforts had made. The 'site' was thoroughly cleared up, all debris removed by the time they left. Ken? - safe hands. Thank you.
