Latest review:Groundwork & Foundations-Thief and scammer Mathew came and quoted for us, arrived on the agreed date and started work, immediately asked for £400 up front for materials promising he was honest. As soon as my partner had paid he left after working an hour. Since then every day was another excuse not to come, they might have been real excuses but when we said enough is enough can we have our money back he wouldn’t pay it saying he doesn’t have any money. I’ve tried different options to make it easy for him to repay such as weekly or to come back and work for the 400£ but just more excuses. Now he ignores our calls and texts My builder have requested a police report as we have done as this is fraud, requesting money under false pretenses. Anyways sorry for the long rant but stay away from this guy as he’s dishonest.

Latest review:Groundwork & Foundations-James is very knowledgeable and has a wealth of experience. I have contracted James to connect utilities to a new build. It was a complicated project where new services needed to be laid in a narrow space alrwady packed with exisiting gas, water and BT lines. He's also done landscaping works, installing gabions and a driveway. I am glad that James was part of the project and would be happy to recommend him and his team to anyone.

Latest review:Groundwork & Foundations-Lewis and Alfie done a fantastic job for me, installing a gravel parking bay beside my static caravan. They both were knowledgeable and done what they promised. The communication was very good and Lewis kept me informed with when he was able to do the job, which he did on time. Latest review:Groundwork & Foundations-Our overall project is a house renovation. The property is mid 19th century with a number of later extensions. The "challenges" come in all shapes and sizes. Much of the work we're doing ourselves but there are certain things that we'd rather get done by someone with the necessary skills and expertise. We needed to find an experienced builder who was willing to work flexibly with us and do just the jobs required, using our own materials. Enter Phil and his young helper, Josh. Phil made an appointment to view the job. He turned up on time and promptly supplied a reasonable quotation. Phil was easy to contact and responded quickly to my queries. We agreed a start date and on the appointed day, Phil and Josh duly arrived to get on with the job. The raft foundation was a relatively straight forward job in itself but of course there were site "anomalies" and issues to overcome which are expected when dealing with a building that is 170 years old. Phil was able to use his experience to mitigate these and with Josh's help, finished the job over a period of 4 days. Phil is a knowledgeable, friendly chap who has integrity and takes pride in his work. Both he and Josh were polite and respectful whilst with us. They did a good job and the end result literally provides the base for us to carry on with next stage. We are sure that there will be more tasks here that will require Phil's broad range of expertise and we won't hesitate to give him a call. Thanks Phil and Josh.
SRK Construction LTD demolished my old wooden shed, & removed from site. Prepared & laid a new concrete base & erected a new metal shed on the concrete base. All to a good standard at a fair price.
