Latest review:Groundwork & Foundations-We originally hired Hazelwood Contractors to relocate a timber building, and following on from that first job, we have also used Chris and his team for a much larger project as well. Chris has been fantastic at working collaboratively with us at each stage, exploring the options, and then implementing our designs & requests as the brief for the original project morphed into a more complex design. At every stage, Chris has held meetings with us to discuss each aspect, and to help us to find the best path forward with each job. Our very large & complex drainage installation has also been completed to our design, with Chris working closely with us and taking great care to try to limit the disruption to our garden. Chris’s team have always been polite and respectful as well. Chris also introduced us to a fantastic builder, and is working on completing the preparation for a much bigger project to take place, which we’re very excited about!

Latest review:Groundwork & Foundations-We advertised on mybuilder.com with the tag Protect Planning Permission. DMC along with one other responded. Dom from DMC attended the site and was constructive and helpful from the very start. A plan was agreed, the work is underway and planning permission for a larger extension is secured. Subsequently we asked Dmc to look at a job at another property. Again nothing was too much trouble and a price was agreed. This was a complex roof replacement on a 200 year old barn. The work has now been completed to an exceptional standard by Dom’s organisation and within an acceptable cost given some significant issues which became apparent during the exercise. We are delighted with the result and have no hesitation recommending Dmc to others.

Not what I expected. Simple 15 mtr foundation for garden wall. Visit by the company to view/price so they knew what they were working on and around. Shuttering needed along 450mm smoothbore pipe running at side of required footings which was not taken into account. When this was pointed out to the site workers they said they had some material that would suffice. on returning from wherever they went to collect the special material they reported it wasn't there so they had brought something else and carried on. They're a foundation specialist company... I left them to it. Sadly while I was off site the concrete was pored which flowed under their 'make do' formwork and under the 450mm pipe lifting it around 100mm They had left site before my return. Site meeting with Paul the owner it was agreed they would make good by lifting the pipe and breaking away excess concrete. This was done but left footings hardly neat and tidy and extra work to continue the project.

Latest review:Groundwork & Foundations-I needed a large shed base built on a slope, and I needed it down quickly as the weather (tempreture) was good and log cabin arriving in a week or so. Lewis turned up on time to quote and was knowledgeable about the work to be undertaken. Also turned up on time to start work and worked through the rain without complaint. Excellent work. Price was reasonable to, I will have him back shortly to do some more work. All in all a good guy and happy to have him work on my property.
