Marco was incredibly helpful: he was available at short notice and as I was out of the country he was happy to provide advice over the phone about the pictures of the leak until I was able to arrange an appointment. In the end, that advice led to the neighbour actually responsible for the leak sorting it at their end without having to call out Marco and he was very gracious about the late cancellation. I will definitely be hiring Marco again if I have another issue.

Piotr could do the job the next morning, was there on time and did everything very thoroughly. He cut and lifted the floorboards to cut and seal a gas pipe that was poking out, everything looks very neat. All the necessary checks were done thoroughly and he seems to be very knowledgeable. If there is anything else to do we will definitely hire him again and will recommend to our friends/ neighbours.

Peter and his colleague provided an excellent service. Came on time, throughly investigated and checked for potential leak(s) on internal pipes connecting to the boiler. Excellent communication through out the job as am not technically minded with regards to pipes connecting to the boiler and tests that Peter had to carry out to determine if there is any leaks. We have a boiler cover and explained this to Peter (we did not need any work done on the boiler). Peter understood this and on completion of the tests, Peter had gone extra mile by providing us a report of work carried out, his recommendation (as the issue appears to be with the boiler and not with the pipes connecting to the boiler) so that we can provide the report to our boiler engineer should the pressure of the boiler continue to drop. Highly recommended.

Thomas's combi boiler installation work was very good and I was impressed with the efforts made to house the flue in a wooden surround in a very limited space. The reasons for marking my feedback as neutral are: 1/ Thomas did not like my attempts to negotiate on price. At a total cost of nearly £2000, it's not unusual for a customer to try for a little reduction. I work hard for my money and £2000 is a lot to me. The labour element of the quote was £450 (for 2 days work), that's equivalent to £1125 per week or £54k for a 48 week year. I think there's room for negotiation as I do not earn that! 2/ The new boiler caused a tap (washer?) in the en-suite to continuously run. Thomas advised the new boilers increased water pressure caused this. I tried Googling this effect but found nothing. Thomas offered to fix the tap washer for £25. Over a period of a month I had to keep chasing Thomas and offered him new dates each time which he often ignored. To date the leaking tap, which I have attempted to fix unsuccessfully, has not been fixed and he has not responded to me for over a week. In summary, the workmanship was good but his arrogance over the price discussion and the poor aftersales service in ignoring my emails and texts let him down.
