We hired HMB Solar to relocate our air conditioning unit, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The unit was installed far too low — around 6 feet from the ground — and was visibly uneven (about 2cm lower on one side). When we raised these issues, the installer came to check the work in person, admitted there was a problem, and promised to return the following week to fix it. He never showed up. After that, he completely ignored all our calls and messages. The only time he responded was when we called him from a different number — and even then, he asked for more money to correct his own mistakes. We paid promptly and expected a professional job. Instead, we were left with substandard work, no accountability, and extremely poor communication. We don’t enjoy leaving bad reviews, but we feel others should be warned. Not recommended.

I cannot recommend Tim enough if you need your boiler replaced. He was professional, kind, and super helpful - taking the time to answer all my questions. And he did a great job! £150 for the work, £16 (odd few pounds for material) - Paid £100 from labour, and the material cost immediately post day 1 (<4 hour work). Work was incomplete due to waiting for sink delivery, requested and agreed to come back to complete - outstanding £50 would be paid alongside a small drink for the initial customer service. Called up a month and a bit later, the price provisionally agreed had been back tracked, and then a further demand for more money to see off the work. Tell me where I said what is incorrect?

I found Phillip to be a very honest tradesman. He sets himself a high standard and goes out of his way to ensure he meets them. In my particular case, after he had completed the job he pointed out that he was not entirely happy with the outcome (the radiator was not sitting flush on the brackets). Phillip returned at a later date and completed the job to a satisfactory level. I would certainly recommend Phillip for gas/plumbing related work and would look to use him again in the future.
