I have had a bad experience with this man . 5 months after he put a roof on my new garden shed, it’s leaking . I called him a week ago to let him know , and he has not called me back despite saying he would . He gave me a quote for the job , which was Oct 2023, saying he had the material to do it , which was included in the price , and agreed what had to be done. When he was more than half way through the job , he told me that he had run out of material and would need to get more to finish off , costing nearly £200. I had no choice to either pay or have a shed with missing roof . I had to borrow from friend and gave him all the money I had left which was approx £160 . I am now left with no option but to pay somebody to come and sort this. I’m upset, and have the feeling , that being a lady living alone , I was taken advantage of. Beware of this contractor
