We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

The job was for a luxury apartment in central London. There were lots of little jobs to do. Marcos did a great job. He was professional-when there were a few problems with crooked walls, he was quite insistent that he would take time for it to be right. He said he would come and view a job before he quotes. I prefer this to being charged by the hour. I will definitely use again.

I had the pleasure of Charlie and Kurt coming to do some work for me at one of my properties as the place hadn’t been touched in years and needed some serious TLC! They had replaced the ceiling in the bathroom, redone the decking and refitted some appliances as well as repairing the pointing outside and redecorating the entire house. This was a big job as the house is old and had defects all over in awkward places but they made sure to complete all touch ups to ensure the finish was to a good standard. They even tidied up the garden and had replaced some benches I had outside for free which was very much appreciated. Definitely recommend them for any jobs locally big or small! Thanks again guys :)

We employed A.V Structures for the building of an external wall around our property, the removal of a garage and the installation of railings and gates. Throughout the 4 week programme we could not have been happier with their work. Arrival was prompt, their pace of work displayed energy and purpose. They were mindful of us and our neighbours and made sure the area was left clean and tidy at the end of each days work.in addition the workmen were courteous and kept us fully informed. Alex, the owner of the company, kept in close contact with us to assure himself of our satisfaction. He came on site at intervals to check that all was going according to plan.
