We hired Mentor to lay engineered wood flooring in two new rooms and for a new staircase. He supported me in the lead up to the job with advice on how to get the best finish and in sourcing the necessary parts, turned up when he said he would, on time and completed the works on time, staying late on the last day to get the job done. Throughout the works he was friendly, calm and consultative, and you could see how important it was for him to do the best job he could. Real pride in his work. I would highly recommend

Latest review:Hard Flooring-Upon arrival, Danny caused a lot of frustration and anger for us because he didn't know you must use boarding between the underfloor heating and the flooring we'd chosen, despite it being on the manufacturer's website. So we spent most of the day frantically contacting other suppliers. He was unable to fit a door because he thought it was the wrong size, but isn't, according to the manufacturer's website. He also led us to believe the underfloor heating didn't require sign-off from an approved electrician, despite it being an absolute must and if we hadn't we'd not be eligible for the product's guarantee. The gaps between the installed flooring are obvious to see. He initially placed the underfloor heating under the fridge and cooker, but said there wasn't enough to cover the rest of the room. He refuses to respond to my messages to complete the job (still waiting for door fitting and skirting boards/beading to be replaced). For your own sanity, don't use this company.

Latest review:Hard Flooring-Extremely happy with the work Daniel has recently completed in my property The new flooring in all the rooms is done with great detail and care. The paint work is of a very high finish and standard. The most important thing I could trust him 100%. I left the keys with him with no problems. It is very difficult to find a tradesman that doesn’t want to rip you off nowadays. The service and the price quoted was of an extremely good value. I will always use Daniel as my go to tradesman for all my properties. Highly recommend

Latest review:Hard Flooring-I was hesitant to hire a tradesperson who I didn’t know (usually get recommendations) but I wanted this job done soon. Ben did not disappoint. He efficiently responded to my request. Arrived when he said he would to give me a quote. Punctually arrived for the date & time he said he would to start the job. Worked steadily till the job was completed. Even went & picked up some additional items we needed for the job since they wouldn’t have fitted in my car. Having experienced tradespeople who are not at all punctual (in fact you’re lucky if they show up) and keep hassling you for money & keep adding to their bill. Ben was a refreshing change from those. Punctual and hardworking and pleasant.

Latest review:Hard Flooring-Jon and his colleague fitted LVT flooring in our bathroom as well as a matching bath panel and shower tray upstand. We are very pleased with the results and the fitting was done to a very high standard. Jon visited to measure up and then again to advise on colours, patterns and design strips. He also fitted pipe covers to finish the job without extra charge. I would recommend him.
