  Matthew has done a first class job to this intricate door frame and replicated the Georgian one that rotted away to perfection. His detail to finish was excellent and prepared the wood for easy undercoating and top coat. Im please I found a reliable and friendly carpenter and delighted with the end result at a very reasonable cost. - this is the start of more projects I need doing and very refreshing that a job has been done right to a high standard - all those looking for a carpenter - 'just book him', you won't be disappointed.

  Hi my name is Maciej,I working in construction for last 5 years,I'm based in Truro,my main trade is tailing, plumbing, carpentery and decorating ,I'm an artist by passion so I have steady hand,but I have many skills,I can put wallpaper,timber construction, plasterboard walls,windows,door hinges and handles,I can fix walls and do the pointing, install water drainage system,fix taps and toilet,small concrete screed itp.   I cannot recommend Maciej highly enough. He is a talented, trustworthy, and highly skilled workman with experience in many different areas. He assembled & installed 2 canopies to the front & back of my house without instructions and under difficult conditions, finding practical solutions when problems arose, he repaired my leak. He erected a cage, installed 2 gas cylinders, completed the intake and waste plumbing for my static caravan, repaired my collapsing polytunnel, and built airflow frames for all the doors. Maciej has also installed security cameras on my house and caravan and is currently fitting 6ft perimeter fencing and a gate for my garden. He has even upgraded old plug sockets to modern USB sockets and will soon be replacing my curtain rails. The quality of his work is consistently excellent, he takes pride in his work and he is absolutely worth every penny he charges. Reliable, hardworking, resourceful, professional, and easy to trust — rare qualities to find these days.

  Totally wasted our time. Accepted the quote and were advised they couldn’t start for a month. We had to chase Matt for a start date which was finally agreed. Night before, no contact so texted at 8pm to ask what time they would arrive. Text back with no apology but said the current job had overrun so wouldn’t be starting until Monday. Very annoyed as we had arranged work around this so one of us could be at home and he clearly wasn't going to let us know this until we chased him up! The Monday was a Bank Holiday so didn’t expect them until the Tuesday (although they didn't say this!). Texted on Monday evening as again no contact and he didn’t even bother to respond this time. Rang on the Tuesday and obviously blocked number as straight to voicemail. Waited a month for the work to be done and then he just didn’t bother turning up or have the courtesy to let us know he obviously wasn’t going to do the job. Don’t understand the motivation here at all to agree to a job and then just not do it. If you don’t want the job don’t accept it! Avoid at all costs!

  Ron was very friendly and knowledgeable. He fitted our new bathroom door, incl hinges, handles & lock to a very high quality of work and he managed to squeeze us in before Xmas as we requested and didn't rip us off at all! Would highly recommend him and his work and will be using him again in the new year for another project! Thanks :)
