I ended my career as a sailor in 2009,then went into self employment-i now just offer a waste collection service & have a set fee of around £150 for as much as i can get in "my" van-in 1 go.thats for generql waste loads it can be cheaper if your load was all green waste,or all wood load around £80 for a van full its all based on loads that for me are around 250kilos .i may have to ask for a little extra if loading isnt straight forward or its just takes a lot longer to load, but ideally if i can park close to where the waste was & loading was q van fulll and loading was done quickley i wont then usually charge for labour time, maybe on jobs where theres a large amount of waste or many van fulls to be taken away-theres usuallygoing to be some sorting out to be done 1st which ultimitly may save you some money if i can take all the wood in 1 go,or or i filter out metal or all the rubble items and do seperate trips anyway will explain this when iam at the job site with you & keep you informed as each day passes
