  Cutting Edge are fantastic. Marks attention to detail was excellent and the finish superb. It seems that half of our village will be asking them to do jobs too. The prices were very good and competitive and the timescale of the build was well thought through and was achieved. They even added cement to our brick drive to stop the bricks moving. I recommend Mark and his team and will be asking them to do more work for us in the near future.

  100% met my expectations in both delivery and quality and on general guidance and advice once the work had been completed. The job was carried out promptly and efficiently and was carried out with nobody else in the property as it was an empty buy to let when I went in to clean up I didn't have to everything was spotlessly clean. More than happy to recommend Julian.

  I cannot recommend Nick and his team highly enough. They have been absolutely amazing throughout our extension. They’ve just completed a double side extension, with a rear single extension and totally reconfigured our upstairs by moving the staircase. They were respectful of our house and neighbours throughout the build and the site was always clean and tidy. You can clearly see that Nick thrives off a good reputation. He kept us informed throughout the build and was quick to problem solve any issues that arose without any fuss. They worked tirelessly to complete on time, working long hours towards the end. I have heard so many horror stories from people about builders still working on their extensions months after the agreed completion date or just not showing up for days at a time. Nick and the guys are the complete opposite they were there 8am every morning. The build has honestly been surprisingly stress free. I am amazed at how quickly they completed our project and to such a high standard. I would recommend Nick and the team to anyone who is looking at building an extension. Nick is competitive on price and there were no hidden extras in the quote. Thank you Guys for our lovely new home!

  Graham did a great job on my front driveway, removing the existing tarmac, laying anwe gravel surface with paved edge and also putting in some new fencing. The work was completed on time and to a very high standard. I have no hesitation in recommending him.

  The finished patio is excellent, from what we had before to what we have now is night & day. Phill was accommodating to changes and was able to deal with them when they became apparent. The nature of the job meant progress seemed slow at times but Phill worked to a plan. Mess was cleaned up after the job was finished so we could enjoy the patio as soon as the job was finished or till the sun shined! Our minds are at ease knowing Phill has offered a guarantee on all his work so any issues which may come up can be sorted in good time

  Jordan did a fantastic and very neat job setting our stone house name into Victorian brickwork over our front door..he then helped cutting some original Victorian floor tiles which was not part of the main job..nothing was too much trouble for him..a very friendly guy and would definitely recommend his expertise in stone masonry to others..

  Ben from Hillside did a wonderful job. He made and stained and put up wooden shelves. The colour of the shelves matches my other furniture perfectly. The job was done efficiently and to a very high standard. I would not hesitate to use Hillside again or to recommend them.

  Archie was very efficient in refurbishing the garage door, gave 3 options and our selected option worked very well, can't see the joins, well painted, door good as new now. We are v. Pleased with the results and quality of work. He tidied up after himself, was punctual and reliable. Would definitely employ him again as I would be confident in his workmanship and standard of work.

  Ollie has done the most amazing job creating our media unit and we couldn’t be happier! I saw a couple of ideas on Pinterest for what I thought would look nice but wasn’t sure if we could find someone who could build it. We did though and Ollie has made it so much better than we ever imagined it would be. The craftsmanship is truly outstanding and all the wood has been sprayed rather than brush painted so it’s flawless and incredibly smooth. From the minute Ollie came to quote, we were so impressed. He listened to exactly what we wanted to achieve and worked incredibly hard to make it happen. A hidden drawer slides out when we want to use the Xbox, there's a recessed Philips Hue light strip and all the cables and plugs are hidden but easily accessible. We have so many other jobs planned as we only moved in a few months ago and we’ll always ask Ollie. We highly recommend him!! Oh and the fire is the New Forest 1600 from British Fires if you want to know where that’s from.

  I am just writing this review because I wanted to say how honest and helpful I found Jamie to be. I was not sure if the project was feasible and when he explained to me that the project was likely to be more costly than I thought due to the nature of the structure of the roof etc I felt that I had learnt a lot and he suggested I think about the value to the house against the projected cost. I commend him for his advice and honesty. I have put the idea on hold for the time being.
