I paid for a boiler service and a Gas Safe certificate, yet the engineer later admitted he could not remember which boiler he had worked on. This demonstrated a clear lack of organisation and professionalism. A few weeks after the service, the boiler began leaking. He promised to return to inspect the issue but never did. Since then, he has ignored both emails and text messages. This level of unreliability is unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to avoid using him at all costs. Losing your phone is not a valid excuse. You promised to returning on 29/12, yet you failed to do so and made no attempt to inform me. Even if your phone had been lost, you could still have accessed your emails via a computer, tablet, borrowed device, or a public library. If you took your professional responsibilities and your customers seriously, you would have found a way to communicate. There are multiple ways to access email, and the failure to do so reflects a clear lack of professionalism!

Very quick response to my problem, popped in the next day, apparently identified the problem and left promising a quote for rectifying the issue. Nothing since then despite me sending a further message asking them to respond so I can only assume the job was beyond their capabilities and they were no brace enough to tell me.

I gathered several quotes for a variety of indoor and outdoor jobs on a relative new build property. Jacobs quote was full and comprehensive and he got off to a great start, promptly showing as promised and identifying exactly the extent and scope of the job which was meticulously listed in his communication. The job was labour intensive, with hardcore digging and extensive cabling. He worked for two solid weeks installing an outdoor system using LED strips around raised decking, sunken lighting around the drive perimeter and staired side entrance, spa points and future proofing for additional garden bed lights. He completed balcony lighting and indoor jobs too many to mention. What a find he is. We are simply overjoyed with the results, it’s stunning and you would never guess there had been such disruption. It’s immaculately completed, he stayed overtime to leave everything pristine and true to word completed everything on time,to cost and quality. We have had at least 2 dozen trades supplying work for our home including other electricians. Some have been better than others but Jacobs work ethic pride and enthusiasm make him a unique resource. As you can tell after two weeks we are hugely grateful to him for delivering and could go on further as to the quality of his work. Dave was prompt in visiting my home to give me a quote for repair of a semi circular garden wall. I agreed a quote and Dave completed the work within 2 weeks of agreeing to do the work.
