I have been very impressed with the services provided by D N Bricklaying. Daniel came to quote on what was quite a large and difficult job. It involved height and access was also a problem. None of this phased him and he gave me a really competitive quote. He and the two other builders were friendly, polite and amendable. They were all really hard workers. They tackled the job efficiently and I was really impressed with their skill and how tidy they left everything. The job was completed in 2 days. It was done exactly as I wanted it to be and the quality of the finish is excellent. I am very, very pleased with the finished job. I would recommend D N Bricklaying without any hesitation. I will certainly use them again for future jobs.

Ronnie contacted me within minutes of the job being posted. Booked for the next weekend. He did a very thorough job with our boiler service. We had been experiencing some issues with the boiler randomly requiring resets and following the service done by Ronnie this went away. Ronnie even spent time on the phone with the boiler's manufacturer to try to diagnose the problem (meaning of flashing lights pattern) and to find out when boiler was manufactured, as I wanted to know this. Left everything clean and tidy, was very polite and a pleasure to chat with. Reasonable price. Even gave us a courtesy call to check on how everything was! Very glad to have met Ronnie and happy to find out he is local. Will definitely contact him again for other plumbing jobs we need sorted!

Everything was completed to a high standard, with great attention to detail, and the site was left clean and tidy. Communication was excellent throughout, keeping me updated at every stage. Steve done a partial job of requested work. Outside lights were just fine. Wanted a switch installed to remove cables and also new socket located. Light switch was not done as wanted, he just bunged up a switch, leaving the trailing cables. Total waste of time that was - the socket, on opening to put it right, had a bare wire inside. Wanted the trunking under existing pipes, which he said he would come back to do along with the light switch. Steve said delay in coming back out as couldn't get hold of any more trunking - its readily available in b&q, etc. I asked for a partial refund, as we had to get someone else out to rectify, he ignored all messages - took his money and never responded since. Also quoted a figure, then added on more at the end for material's - which were included in the quote. Sadly nothing in writing, please avoid this 'electrician'

Ben did a grand job, I can't recommend him highly enough. He turned up when he said he would, diagnosed the problem, went and got the part we needed, returned and fixed the problem for a more than reasonable price. The next day when I had stupidly let some pressure out of the system as I thought it was getting a bit high causing there to be fluctuating hot water I rang Ben who again came round at the exact time he said he would, again diagnosed the problem (me!!) and sorted it there and then but wouldn't hear of taking any money for his trouble despite the fact that it was me who had messed things up!! A thoroughly pleasant, polite, prompt and efficient young man who, if he is willing, we will be calling upon in future for our yearly boiler service and any other gas/heating related jobs we may need to have done.
