Hello, I’m Edward. I live in shrewsbury and currently working on a vast extension to a nursing home in Much Wenlock. It started at 14 beds with 10 flats attached. By the end it will be 43 beds and 32 flats. Throughout this job I have done most of the first & second fix carpentry. Due to the small workforce I did alot more than just one role. Floor fitting, plumbing, bathroom fit, window installation, plastering, tiling, some first fix electrical and plenty of second fix.

As I've always been an outdoor person it was quite natural to switch from being an office worker to owning my gardening business. I spent decades under neon lights staring at a computer screen not knowing neither the time nor the life outside. I got tired of being disconnected from the nature that's why I become a full time gardener. I started as a weekend job up until 2022 when I gathered all my courage and left my well paid position at a transport company. No regret apart from the one that I should have done it a lot earlier. Now I'm designing, landscaping, building gardens and also maintaining them if required. I'm also taking on tree surgery jobs as well and as an extra I'm doing carpentry as I always loved working with wood and create something satisfying.
