How we work Patrick looks at the roof before giving a price, then gives a written quote for the specific job rather than a guess over the phone. We photograph faults before anything is covered up, so you can see exactly what was found and what was fixed. If scaffolding is needed for safety we will tell you before you commit, and if a repair makes more sense than a replacement we will say so. Local knowledge The housing around Brighton is varied: Regency and Victorian terraces in Kemptown, Hanover and central Hove; Edwardian bay-fronted houses around Preston Park; 1930s semis in Patcham; and bungalows and chalet bungalows in Saltdean, Peacehaven and Woodingdean. Coastal wind and salt air are hard on mortar, lead and fixings, while inland towns like Hassocks and Burgess Hill see more moss on concrete tile roofs. We see the same problems again and again, and we know what to look for.
