When I worked for a big roofing company based in sandy, called K&C Roofing. They established in 1971. I joined them in the year 2000 and worked under them for 14 years until they retired a few years ago. I learned from the best, old school roof tilers around back then, learning the old ways as well as the new ways, as everyone has to adapt as time goes on. They covered 4 different counties, taking on and completing council contracts, re roofing street after street, and simple repairs too if needed. I am also a City of guilds Qualified with a GNVQ L2 Skilled Carpenter and Joiner. As I'm working for myself now, I'm just a small sole trader so I don't come with all the big companies overhead charges. With all quotes negotiable. They came to completely refurbish a dated property. The works included full redecoration with some plastering, new flooring, new radiators, some electrical and plumbing work, repositioning of doors, and installing a new kitchen. The whole team are professional, polite, quiet, helpful and reliable, and they were able to stick to the agreed timeline. They managed the whole project to a tight timetable with no delays, all along with good communication and easy resolution of any issues that arose. We thoroughly recommend KS Construction and will be asking for them to return for further work in the garden in the Spring.

In October 2018, I asked Michael to do a rear part single storey part double storey extension. Michael completed the job mid January 2019, which also included relaying the patio, fitting a pre-bought kitchen and building a new porch. Michael, Bill (the electrician) and the rest of the team have done an excellent job transforming our home into something so much more than it was. I was very impressed with his work ethic and his knowledge, and appreciated the advice he gave us which showed his experience. The electrician also was able to successfully rewire our home to bring up to the required standards and was willing to work on weekends to get the job done (that was partly our fault, sorry!). Any issues and disputes, of which there were very few mind you, were dealt with promptly and properly.
