Dan is a top bloke! Did a cracking good job of my wall, which was looking tired and in need of repointing before Dan did his magic. Dan initially came out to see what was needed and quoted a really fair price. Dan carried out the work when he said he would, taking time to do a really good job. Tidied up and cleaned all the area where he was working once he finished. All looks like new. Would certainly recommend Dan for all your building works!!!

Rob and his men did a grand job replacing worktops and re-tiling our fairly large kitchen. To enable new worktops they had to get a 4 metre length through a first floor window where our kitchen is situated. Although a difficult manoeuvre they carried this out with superb efficiency. The carpentry, plumbing and tiling was finished in no time and we now have a beautifully re-vamped kitchen. Thank you so much to all of them.

I am not usually one to leave feedback or engage in online disputes, but in this case, your actions and the experience we had warrant an honest response so you can hopefully learn and improve in the future. From the outset, I gave you an opportunity to work on our property despite my partner’s reservations about your level of expertise. You inspected the job, gave your professional opinion, and quoted a price. Although I initially offered a different amount, I ultimately agreed to pay your full proposed cost, which you received in full. Unfortunately, the first job was done incorrectly while I was away. When I asked you to correct it, you refused unless I paid extra. You also charged for removing materials from a job that was poorly executed and wasted both our money and resources.

This job was to supply and install 3 internal doors. Jack responded very quickly to our request and we had an agreed cost the same day. On the day arranged for the work Jack arrived on the dot and immediately set to work. I was very impressed when he volunteered to do all wood cutting/sanding etc outside even though the weather was foul when he learnt that my wife has breathing difficulties. The job wasn't an easy one as the door frames in my home are not straight and the floors uneven. Nevertheless, Jack progressed through the difficulties working diligently until the job was completed. He cleaned the work areas (inside and out) and took away all waste. Conclusion: The finished job was splendid, better than we had hoped for. Jack's workmanship was excellent and he was polite and professional at all times. The completed job was at the price that we had agreed even though it was obvious that Jack was obliged to spend considerable more time for the reasons mentioned above. I would have no hesitation recommending Jack and will certainly use him again.

Kevin did a good job overall with our extension. The build had many of the challenges that should be expected with an old, idiosyncratic house, plus a few others too. In particular, Kevin's wealth of knowledge and experience with traditional building methods was invaluable. His ability to solve problems and offer intelligent advice on many different aspects of the build was also hugely appreciated. The job took longer than expected but in the end the result has made it worthwhile.
