We can’t thank Matthew and the team enough for the build. Great communication throughout and Matthew’s experience and suggestions were welcomed during the initial planning, allowing us to make informed decisions on the final product. Where obstacles were met, they were dealt with swiftly allowing for a much less stressful experience. Our home is now perfect for our growing family as we are able to utilize so much more space.

The Guys were great, excellent work, put the hours in to get the job done, 99% of the work is done they're just coming back to install the windows once they've been manufactured. But the rest of the work, I can't fault it having had a terrible experience whilst building the house a few years ago these guys went above and beyond, and proved there are good builders around. Great attention to detail and skilled. Would happily recommend them and use them again on future building projects.

Pat has recently completed building a rock faced block boundary wall for me. I cannot speak highly enough of his workmanship. He takes such care with every aspect of his work, even consulting with neighbours to keep them happy. When there was a problem with delivery of materials, he kept me informed of the situation and I appreciated his care . I was so impressed with the standard of his work, I have recommended him to a family member.

For many years I have had problems with the grass quality in the back garden with weeds and moss. This year I decided to have a patio and artificial grass laid to overcome my frustrations. Jamie from active groundwork services came to view the task I had initially thought of, with his experience in this type of garden work he suggested I go a little further and designed a plan to rejuvenate the area. What a complete difference and impact his idea had on the project, the end product was totally amazing. Jamie's quality of workmanship and finishing is of a very high standard, he goes out of his way to provide advice and suggestions throughout all stages of the work, and had a very helpful understanding attitude, this coupled with a competitive price, I would highly recommend Jamie to anyone, to a point that I would not consider any other firm before consulting him. There are a few other little issues/jobs I have in the front and side of the house which Jamie is kindly going to address in the near future. Thank you.

Jamie is excellent guy, really quick quote, confident tradesman and did an excellent work installing some very chunky steel beams into our 200 year old, random stone house for a doorway extension. Once steels were in, expertly cut and installed the stone back into reveals. Really pleased and will consider again for future works on our precious home.

The standard of work was abysmal. The photos in the photo gallery must have been taken from someone else's site. Catalogue of errors. Where do I start. - Failed to follow the instructions on boarding the ceiling, instead boxing off part of the room. - Much of the insulation was removed, - The boards were not properly screwed down, leaving unlevelled floor board, with dips and rises in the floor. - Both the flooring and ceiling boards had gaps, which were filled with foam. - The work caused cracks in the ceiling below. - The original fitted loft door was cut. This was cut short. Then repaired by putting another piece of wood on top. The loft door is now two pieces of board stuck together, which is unsightly to look at. -Since the "job" was done the loft door does not stay closed, as the lock was not properly fitted probably due to the loft door not fitting. -The ladder is flimsy, the cheapest on the market. As the loft is high I have been told that the ladder is inadequate. I requested the receipt to return it. The receipt was sent to me after the 30 days that the ladder was purchased. The shop were it was brought refused to take it back as it was outside the refund period. The flooring is so bad it has to be boarded over, which is an additional cost. The plasterer had to screw down boards before he could start plastering.

Superb work, no messing about, gets on with the job. Lovely manner with people. We couldn’t have been more pleased. After being messed about by a cowboy builder he came and saved the day and finished our building. I would recommend to anyone. Fantastic work and reasonable. You would have no worries hiring Martin. Hes reliable, hard working and punctual. I personally wouldn’t look anywhere else.

Tony is possibly the best option you have. He is genuine, trustworthy, a man of his word and prices competitively. Even if he isn't the cheapest quote you get you should still try to employ him as he won't let you down. He's been doing this sort of thing since he was a young lad, and even though he's still relatively young in the scheme of things do not be fooled, he knows his stuff. It has been an absolute pleasure having Tony do our extension, and I am very happy to have anyone over who wants to take a look to discuss the quality of his work before proceeding with him. And no, this is not a plant! I am just a very happy customer.
