Focus Builders completed a two-storey wraparound extension including two new bathrooms and a large open-plan kitchen, and the entire experience was excellent. From the outset, they reviewed our plans, discussed our vision, and offered valuable advice, which built trust immediately. Communication was clear, honest, and consistent throughout. I would highly recommend Graham for any building work required. Graham was originally asked to renovate an old extension which was built circa 1970, which had damp problems and was on a different level to the rest of the house. This, at my request, expanded to virtually a complete rebuild of the extension and a conversion of the garage to a downstairs toilet and utility room. The roof over the extension and garage also needed to be lifted to bring the extension and the garage to the same level as the rest of the property. Graham was extremely patient and always took on board any comments/suggestions I had during the building work and adapted accordingly. Graham also came up with ways to improve the overall look of the house and built an overhang porch area with rendering across the front and side of the house. The quote was very reasonable and was updated and the revised price sent to me as the building work progressed (due to my changes to the original work request). Graham organised building control inspections and kept me informed throughout the build. Graham and his team were extremely pleasant and professional throughout. Thank you Graham

Rob and his team are by far the best tradesmen I have ever worked with. They listened to my ideas and brought their experience to bear on the project. Their estimates were competitive and accurate and their work ethic was fantastic. They even managed to save me a bit of money with their innovative thinking and product suggestions. I probably wasn't the easiest client to deal with... last minute changes etc... but the team were extremely accommodating and understanding. I highly recommend Groundworks & Civils for any kind of similar work you are thinking of undertaking. The test of a good tradesmen is whether of not you would use them again. I will and I did. Thanks for doing such a fantastic job, Rob! On a personal level, they are a great set of guys too. What more could you want :-)

I came across Rock Bubble at' My builder' and got a quick response. Tony visited the site and provided quote on the same day (I never expected a quote on the same day and never looked at my e-mail until I was asked to check. That quick was the response). Things moved pretty quick and work began. I must tell we loved Rock bubble and the name they choose fit well for the team. We had a very smooth and pleasant experience with the whole team and have completed our dream project to our satisfaction. Peter always there with his approachable nature and ready to listen and does the work perfectly. Tony always at the end of phone call and communicating and checking each stages of the work and visited site at the crucial points. The whole team worked very positively and work was carried out in a timely fashion and as agreed. Very easy to work with and very reliable. Everyday they were at the site and never had to worry and always kept us informed of the progress and plan. My son was able to talk with the team anytime during the project work We are very grateful for all the work done to make our 'Home' more beautiful. Darren came to visit and explained what needed to be done with the ridge tiles. We agreed a date and they turned up and immediately set to work. They were very professional in everything that was done and left the site spotlessly clean, I would highly recommend them
