Mark Lace and the team were excellent. From finding matching bricks to delivering the completed project in 40 build days. The attention to detail was first class. All the work was brilliant, foundation work, bricklaying and roofing, plumber, electrician, chip worker, wet floor layer, double glazing installer, decorator - you can’t fault anything - they even laid a patio! We discussed the project throughout the build, what was needed in terms of fittings and finish - the extension has changed our lives! Everybody who visits loves it - saying that they didn’t realise it was an extension!

From quotation to snagging I could not find any faults with Uber construction and the way they tackled every process of converting our conservatory into a kitchen was excellent The workers were very professional and hard-working I could not fault them. And any problems We dealt with immediately and resolved. I recommend this company. To anybody requiring very professional job.

Ashley arrived at the time agreed to look at the work and price it. We discussed the way forward and he was able to sort the water leaks there and then. He was very polite and did a great job and I’m sure we will have him back in the future for other work.

He is very punctual does a full days work and will give solid advice based on his vast experience in the building sector. RJH construction work to a really high standard. They are qualified, insured, experienced, honest and hardworking. I was recommended RJH construction because of their standards and honesty as when they started the work I lived at the time in Yorkshire. The work they have done is amazing, I am thrilled with the finished results. I would never use anyone else. The work I wanted doing was near enough a rebuild. Every external and internal wall has been changed. I have extended and made the loft a living space with a large dorma roof. The look of the property has totally changed. Used build and renovate for a garage conversion…told it was a 6 week job. Started in July. Still not finished in January. Bathroom fitted in the garage is leaking. Vanity unit is wonky. Poor finish to carpentry. The new plaster in the garage is mouldy due to lack of heating for an extended time (electrician was so unreliable). Interior lime plastering…actual plastering is good, but poor finish overall. Nails left sticking out of the window beams, damage to ceiling/wall not made good. Exterior lime render. Generally good. Except they left the guttering down pipes off for several months so the new render got flooded every time it rained and I had to chase and chase and chase to get it put back. Was eventually done. I have many emails/photos to evidence all of the issues. He doesn’t respond to emails, calls and texts. He refuses to give a completion date. He refuses to give any indication of when they’ll be back to complete the work. Has clearly moved on to a new job and has no motivation to come back and complete this one. Some stuff has been sorted but took weeks/months of chasing before any action. Been left with multiple outstanding issues with no indication of when, or if, they will be fixed. And now the new roof, fitted to the garage, has started leaking! Had hoped we’d found a reliable and competent local independent tradesperson. We’ve been incredibly patient and understanding of the many delays and ‘snags’ but I’ve just had enough now.

I am so pleased I went with Kevin's quote to repair my chimney. I found him honest, reliable and very knowledgeable in what needed doing. I had a few quotes before making a decision and he certainly stood out as a trades person you can trust. He even took me up the scaffolding to show and reassure me of what needed doing. Top guy who was friendly but also professional and worked the whole time he was here. I would definitely use Coast and Country Construction again and would recommend to anyone. Very happy customer.

Alistair completed a number of jobs for us including refitting our kitchen, removing our garage roof and replacing with a fibre glass structure, raised decking and balustrade, installation of patio doors into an old window frame, installation of window sills, curtain poles and pictures. All work was completed to a good standard and we found Alistair to be reliable and trustworthy. He had keys to our property to come and go as necessary. He is not the cheapest builder you will find but his workmanship and skill is second to none. He has tidy working practices and happily takes on extra tasks. We already have him quoting for additional jobs. I recommend him.

Jack and Jason are professional, hardworking and trustworthy gents. By the end of our build they become good friends and looked after us the whole way. Could not recommend them enough and given the size of our extension and the challenges we faced, they always came up with a solution! Great knowledge of the system, building regs and were always happy to help with extras bits when asked! Managed all other contractors for us and the entire build the whole way. Even corrected some of my bad DIY along the way! 5* from us!
