Initial pleasant start to our £35k project. Two lads on site each day, with good progress made and both well mannered and communicative. External structure work was good, with a pitched roof added to the initial design plan, mid project. The blend of brickwork between new and old was well done. Plaster works has proven to be poor in places, with joins between old and new visible in parts throughout the extension. James (Jim), the boss, really needs to work on his customer service skills when things don't go to plan. People are parting with considerable money and, for examples sake, arguing that the use of old facia and guttering on a new roof is acceptable, is frankly laughable. Communication has proven non existent at times - especially since work on our neighbours roof (carried out by Audnam Builders to correct a leak most likely caused by themselves during our build) has caused a serious leak in our garage, damaging new plaster and forcing electric points out of use. We've upheld our side of the contract. I think a trip to the small claims court is on the cards.

Corey came out to price a garage conversion I advertised for in September 2023. My original garage was threw up by the last owner and required demolishing, there was leaks everywhere. With little persuasion we decided to go down the double block route with a pitched roof that incorporated two sky lights, he even dug out footings to allow for a double extension in the future if ever required (FOC). He project managed all the work so I didn’t have to, all tradesman that came on my property were professional and helped me achieve what I wanted. I cannot recommend Corey enough.

Prembuild Midlands have spent the past week transforming our home by removing a wall to create a new kitchen-diner, and they have been outstanding from beginning to end. The quality of their work has been excellent, but what has impressed us equally is their professionalism. They are exceptionally clean and tidy, hoovering as they work and leaving no unnecessary mess behind. They are fully compliant with building regulations and manage all the required paperwork, liaising directly with the building control officer to ensure every requirement is met properly. Colin, the owner, keeps us informed each day, personally checks the work of every tradesperson and even calls outside normal working hours to make sure we are completely happy.
