We had 'Donald Thomas Builders' to build our extension. We were quite nervous about the process as it is a lot of money and you hear such horror stories. We needn't have worried. Donald approached the quotation process and the build in a very professional and organised way. We were given a schedule of work and timetable and what we would pay at the different stages of the build. When his team began work we couldn't fault them. They were punctual, worked really hard and were very polite. We found Donald and his team very accommodating when we changed a couple of things during the build they made it painless for us. Our architect came along at various stages of the build to check on our behalf and he told us he was so impressed with the standard of the work he has recommended Donald and his team to some of his clients. I can't think of a higher accolade. Would I recommend them ... most definitely and if I every needed any building work doing I would definitely use Donald and his team again.

Mark provided us with a sensible, affordable quote and seemed unfazed by the task ahead. Once onsite he turned up every day unless he had informed us otherwise. He works diligently, is organised and forward thinking, which meant that the job flowed without any major delays. He is multi skilled which means he can complete most tasks himself and has contacts that he can call on when required. His workmanship is excellent and our once tumble down barn is now very smart additional living accommodation and all for the price quoted. Undertaking a major project like this was daunting for us, but Marks friendly, patient demeanour meant that the build was a lot less stressful and disruptive than it might have been. We would highly recommend Mark to anyone looking for a reliable, genuine tradesman.

Keith hung 2 new radiators, moved 2 others, fitted a roof vent for a fan and did a great job on all. He has a meticulous attention to detail and takes a great pride in doing a first class job. He clearly has a wealth of knowledge and can make useful suggestions about how to achieve what you want doing. He turned up when he said he would and was easy to contact. He is obviously happy in his work as he sings a lot. :) I would have absolutely no hesitation about recommending Keith.

Started off brilliantly. Worked full days, friendly, professional. But once work was nearly finished builders disappeared carpenters only came occasionally. Still waiting weeks later for carpentry work, electrical work and final building work to be completed. Very disappointed, would be loath to recommend this company to anyone. Still hoping they will return to finish.
