I would highly recommend Stephen Woolgar from SDW Electric for electrical work. He provided a very competitive quote and along with being very good at his trade, Stephen is a very polite, intelligent and accommodating Electrician. Stephen is not only able to forsee possible issues with an electrical proposal on paper and thus advise accordingly but is also able to solve unforeseen problems presented on site. This is especially important in my project which was the provision of electrical supply for a future kitchen on the first floor in a 130 year old traditional house. The project, in the end, was only electrical as far as SDW Electrical was concerned. From the first meeting Stephen was very engaging and showed he was able to understand and tease out my requirements for the project which wasn’t completely formulated as I am not an Electrician. As is often with such projects, needs change and develop on advice and discussion which Stephen was very accommodating with and understanding of. Living in a house surrounded by materials required for a large renovation project impacts on ones life which can be and often is stressful. Stephen, in understanding that, helped by being very respectful of our situation, thus reducing any possible further stress. Stephen was on programme with his work but was very accommodating with some delays due to other ongoing trades. Thank you for being so understanding of this Stephen. I look forward to working with you again.

VENROY was very professional and friendly. He came to look at the job first to ensure that is all good. He took time to explained the steps how the work was going to be done. To make sure that I was happy. VENROY expertise in Electician field make me feel confident from start to end. He also go far and beyond the task requested. He went round to make sure all my sockets are working properly and found out 2 of the sockets in my living room had a cross wires which I didn’t know about and I lived there for 4 years. He kindly corrected the issues with no extra cost. I am pleased with the result of the installation and the service. And now have VENROY as my first contact for electricians. Highly recommended. He also did some tiling, carpentery (he fitted 1 large and 1 small kitchen) as well as fitting all the electrical appliances. He also built some shelves and cupboards. His work cannot be faulted and he is one of the nicest, most flexible easy going builder ever. He always cleans up after himself and very committed to his work. I would fully recommend Goodwood Enterprises. This was the first time i had used mybuilder.com and i had a very positive experience with Goodwood Enterprises Ltd. Don approached me to quote for the job of installing 20 spotlights in my kitchen and made himself available to quote the evening after i posted the job on mybuilder.com. He was thorough in assessing the work that needed to be carried out and provided a clear quote within a few days. Don carried out the work professionally and to a high standard with no corners cut. Anne-Marie's advice regarding the overall layout of the spotlights was extremely helpful and appreciated and she is very good at the interior design element. She also went above and beyond expectations by replacing an old kitchen mat and also researching a tradesman for a damp-proofing job that i required doing! Between Don and Anne-Marie, my kitchen was cleaner and tidier than i could have expected after each days' work (took 5 days). We expanded the initial job to include the replacing of two sets of taps in the house (Anne-Marie helped choose the taps and then purchased them for me which was very helpful!). Don and Anne-Marie are very personable and genuine and that makes dealing with them smooth sailing!
