Swift response to my advert being placed. Turned up when he said he would and surveyed the job, provided a clear quote and explained what was needed. Came back the next day with the part and replaced the extractor fan. Very happy and would definitely recommend. It was refreshing to find someone who was prepared to undertake a 'small' job, something some people are no longer prepared to do.

Simon responded quickly and visited us on the same day (after we spoke on the phone) to provide a very reasonable quote and a good timeline for start and completion. Unlike a lot of tradesmen, Simon was upfront, professional but warm and explained everything in lay persons terms. We booked in the job but when our baby was unwell that day, Simon offered flexibility and understanding. When Simon later came to start and complete the work, he was sensitive to our situation (we still had an unwell baby) and he was also very accommodating of our lively dog! We had accidentally not bought all the parts, but Simon resolved the issue and completed the work to a very high standard. Although Simon could have squeezed more work out of us (because we have no idea what we’re talking about) he was extremely honest and explained what does/what does not need doing now/in future/in certain situations. I would 100% recommend SMG Electricial. It’s so hard to find a good quality electrician!! We’re looking forward to having Simon back to help with a few other jobs!

Shaun is genuinely a nice guy who knows his trade and is a conscientious worker. He kept the work ares clean and tidy and the finish is great. Initially I had asked Shaun to fit a couple of electric sockets but by the time he arrived I had more jobs that needed doing. He happily did these jobs too and what could not be fitted in that day was quickly added to the calendar in a short time, which is great when good tradesmen are so hard to pin down these days. In short, if you need a reliable, hard working, conscientious tradesman Shaun Allen is your man.

Martin & co were excellent. Very professional, friendly and handled a complicated rewire in an old cob/stone cottage very well. The house was left tidy and neat. I couldn’t be more impressed or pleased with the quality of work. I would highly recommend and will be happy to work with again.

Great service - Michal was knowlegeable, friendly and very professional and quickly identified the problem, including a past installation problem (by another tradesman) with the circuit breaker which was not installed correctly, possibly causing the fault. A new CB was installed and the electrical system tested, fixing the problem. Michal is a skilled professional electrician and is highly recommended and I would certainly use his services in the future.

Andy came to quote on a price to fix a feed onto my drainage so I could get a dishwasher. He then came a few days later to put it on, he was flexible with a time to suit me, kept it clean and tidy after the job was completed and also fitted a plug for me for the dishwasher which was great as I didn’t need to get an electrician as well! He is so lovely and relaxed as well, I would 100% use Andy again for any electrical jobs I might need in the future!
