We have hired Dan and Raf (D&R henceforth) for the renovation of our newly purchased Victorian terraced house. We solicited a few quotes from different companies and decided on proceeding with D&R as the quote was not only one of the most competitive in terms of price but also very detailed and straightforward in terms of the material and labour costs for the different parts of the work. D&R (together with their team workers) have done a complete top-to-bottom renovation of the property, including re-wiring, some structural work (removal of two load-bearing walls), installation of new wooden floors, tiling and installation of new kitchen and bathroom, fitting of new internal and external doors, some carpentry work. By the end of the work the total cost of the renovation work did not deviate significantly from the quote we had initially been given. Also the works were concluded largely within the deadline agreed preceding the works (11 weeks instead of 10 for a complete renovation). D&R have been particularly helpful in providing suggestions throughout the project, and they were often in contact with us to ensure that the renovation was in line with our preference. The scope of work has changed a few times throughout the course of the project, and D&R have always been able to accommodate our requests. Overall, we are extremely happy with the overall results and we would highly recommend D&R’s services.

A very experienced and competent electrician who knows exactly what he is doing. Leaves the work area as clean as he found it. No problem whatsoever with the conduct of his work or behaviour or attitude. Polite, respectful and friendly and patient and tolerant and accommodating. Gives good advice about the issues at hand, enough to make an informed choice. Not sure about his charges though, given the current unprecedented economic climate. P&J electrical were super efficient and competitively priced. I had an electrical report done (EICR) which was very detailed. I was very satisfied with the work, communication was excellent and they turned up on time. They also fixed a problem with one of my lights and included this in the original pricing at no extra cost. Ben was excellent: he's a very friendly and professional individual who clearly was able to present the different options avaliable to solve the requested problems as well as explain any challenges he faced. He sorted a number of new plugs, completed some very challenging wiring (the joys of Victorian properties!) and installed a number of new light as well as a wired in a fitted a new heated bathroom mirror. Overall 10/10 - I highly recommend you use Ben for your electrical works.
