Mark did work installing 6 downlights in my kitchen ceiling. It was always agreed with mark he would leave the downlights out after connecting to the wires so painting could be easily done ( on my new fresh plaster) before the downlights would be inserted into the ceiling. Although the electric part was good, mark drilled the holes too big in the ceiling which meant Mark had to use chalk around the edges of the spotlight which made the whole finish look quite poor around all the 6 spotlights. Mark did say he had to drill the holes bigger due to the double boarded ceiling ( overboard over artex). Speaking to other electricians they have informed me this was not an excuse to drill the holes bigger and there were better ways to rectify (than chalk) if holes were drilled bigger by accident. Although i am certain the electrical aspect is satisfactory from Mark, im not happy with the finish of the final product. It will also mean i will always have difficulty painting around the spotlights as theyre stuck in ( if i take the spotlights out it will damage the plasterboard due to the decorators chalk). I may need to redo the whole ceiling to get the aesthetic i was looking for. Mark needs to ensure he asks the customer if a mistake was made before taking any long term drastic steps affecting the finish.

Alek and Ste at K&A have been absolutely brilliant. Our balcony collapsed into the main hall entrance of our building last year. We chose K&A to do the work after being let down time and time again by other contractors. They have been fantastic - great communication, reasonable costs, and a great finish on the work done. K&A provided us with their initial quote for the balcony works, and after realising there was a lot more work needing done, and the damage was far worse than we first thought, they were really reasonable and generous, keeping their initial quote pretty much the same, adding on only the essential material prices they would need that hadn't been considered to start with. They've done such a great job, we've asked them to do little works in our apartment, from tiling, to replacing pipes. We couldn't recommend K&A enough!
