Erhan was fast at responding to my advert and we efficiently planned a visit as he provided a clear quote for an EICR certificate. On the ground, he was helpful and practical in his approach. We knew we might have an issue with some of the electrics and this was rapidly and efficiently diagnosed. He clearly explained the issue and built trust with us. We were able to organise on the spot for the follow up work to be done less a few days later (with clear indication as to likely pricing). Again, Erhan turned up punctually and resolved the issue promptly. We were grateful for his practical approach, problem solving attitude and of course that we now have a valid EICR certificate. This builder expects you to be able to list every single part of the job that needs doing. If it's not communicated through messaging that you need something doing as part of the job then he won't do it. For example - the partition wall that was put up, was not filled because he said that was not communicated in the messages. I would not know everything that should be done in order for a partition wall to look half completed. It is perfectly clear that this is a common occurrence as he repeatedly mentioned how he always shows people the messages sent back and fourth as proof of what they asked for. Bottom line - if you don't know all the tiny steps included in the job you want done then be expected to not get a full job done. He took off £100 off the agreed price due to my disbelief and disgust but this did not help as I then had to find another builder to complete what should have been completed. How can any builder put up a partition wall and not fill where plaster boards are joined

A huge thank you to Gregory who took down and installed a new cooker hood. He was very attentive and went above and beyond by sorting out the extractor hose that needed cutting so it could fit perfectly. He even replaced the blown light bulbs so I could gain more lighting to cook. All mess and equipment was disposed and area left as originally found. We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

First of all I am a professional landlord. I needed to find a new electrician as my last one that had I had been using for the last 12 years was becoming painfully unreliable. In the past I would only use NICEIC electricians. The quotes I received from mybuilder.com were from one extreme to the other extreme. For some reason I decided to take on Mehdi from M F Building Services, it may have been because he was registered with Napit & that he did not have any feedback what so ever, my thinking for this was I'm sure he is going to be good & reasonable to get on the ladder with feedbacks. His quote was not the cheapest but fair. He produced his badge and insurance both of which I have copies for my records. (I also checked him out with Napit registration.) In the past I would only use NICEIC electricians but I have read about Napit and have seen it growing over the last few years. Anyway back to the job and feedback for Mehdi . His price was accepted for the job. Mehdi gave me a date and time and arrived 10 minutes early. The job was completed and an invoice and Napit minor works certificate supplied. After this I asked Medhi if he could do an electrical safety test for one of my properties that was becoming due. Again date and time was kept and the test carried out and a Napit Safety Certificate supplied. As a person/electrician he is friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. I have today given his number to one of the managing agents that I deal with.

To get straight to the point...OUTSTANDING Service! Immediately from the onset and til completion, Ishan and his company Nismo Engineering did everything in their ability to ensure that the process was simple, comfortable and straightforward. He was very quick to come over to view the job and was just as efficient when it came to organising and completing the job. What really impressed me the most about Ishan was that he never not once compromised the standard of his service even when faced with unexpected difficulties. He always found a way to ensure that the job was completed with full competence and even went out of his way to explain the technical circumstances involved so that I always felt aware and comfortable of the work being carried out. He always offered alternative options and even provided his personal discount when it came to helping me source/buy the parts. Ishan was very prompt and professional.
