Karl is determined to finish the job to a good quality. There were a few set backs, including being 40 minutes late for the job and making the spotlight holes too large, forcing me to return my existing lights back. However, he went out to the shop himself and sorted out new lights and some missing parts within the same day. As a result it took a bit longer than expected but the result was great. He also did an additional small job for me by installing a heating control panel.

I'm incredibly happy with the job Basit did for me. He is extremely polite, professional and experienced. His prices are incredibly reasonable and the professional service he provides makes it even feel like you are getting a bargain. Basit contacted me and arranged to come to my house to give an estimate, he was on time, courteous and knowledgeable. He gave me a quote and arranged a day he could do the work. On the day, he arrived on time and started straight away. He was very tidy and respectful, making sure not to leave a mess. He tested everything was working and demonstrated it to make extra sure. He also charged the estimate, no hidden costs, despite the work being a little more complicated than initially thought. I would 100% recommend Basit to anyone who needs an electrician and definitely if you want to put in ethernet ports to better connect your home. I will be using his services again.

I would highly recommend Stephen Woolgar from SDW Electric for electrical work. He provided a very competitive quote and along with being very good at his trade, Stephen is a very polite, intelligent and accommodating Electrician. Stephen is not only able to forsee possible issues with an electrical proposal on paper and thus advise accordingly but is also able to solve unforeseen problems presented on site. This is especially important in my project which was the provision of electrical supply for a future kitchen on the first floor in a 130 year old traditional house. The project, in the end, was only electrical as far as SDW Electrical was concerned. From the first meeting Stephen was very engaging and showed he was able to understand and tease out my requirements for the project which wasn’t completely formulated as I am not an Electrician. As is often with such projects, needs change and develop on advice and discussion which Stephen was very accommodating with and understanding of. Living in a house surrounded by materials required for a large renovation project impacts on ones life which can be and often is stressful. Stephen, in understanding that, helped by being very respectful of our situation, thus reducing any possible further stress. Stephen was on programme with his work but was very accommodating with some delays due to other ongoing trades. Thank you for being so understanding of this Stephen. Nice and very helpful guy, Will helped find a good location to fit a fan with very limited options, gave unrelated advice separate to the job even calling in a friend to help, and tried making our job easier for us, coming in more than once. Couple of stumbling blocks but able to overcome in the end, would definitely use again in the future and would recommend him to others, a pleasure to deal with.
