We have hired Dan and Raf (D&R henceforth) for the renovation of our newly purchased Victorian terraced house. We solicited a few quotes from different companies and decided on proceeding with D&R as the quote was not only one of the most competitive in terms of price but also very detailed and straightforward in terms of the material and labour costs for the different parts of the work. D&R (together with their team workers) have done a complete top-to-bottom renovation of the property, including re-wiring, some structural work (removal of two load-bearing walls), installation of new wooden floors, tiling and installation of new kitchen and bathroom, fitting of new internal and external doors, some carpentry work. By the end of the work the total cost of the renovation work did not deviate significantly from the quote we had initially been given. Also the works were concluded largely within the deadline agreed preceding the works (11 weeks instead of 10 for a complete renovation). D&R have been particularly helpful in providing suggestions throughout the project, and they were often in contact with us to ensure that the renovation was in line with our preference. The scope of work has changed a few times throughout the course of the project, and D&R have always been able to accommodate our requests. Overall, we are extremely happy with the overall results and we would highly recommend D&R’s services.

We had a requirement to address a number of issues that were brought up by an electrical safety report in a two bedroom flat, which we had up for sale. Muhammad arranged a visit to view the work required in order to give us a quote, and within a few hours he had called back with an extremely competitive quote to cover everything that was needed. We accepted his quote and he began the work in the next couple of days. He took several hours to carry out the work that was agreed, but stuck rigidly to the amount of his quotation. As well as completing existing requirements he meticulously carried out a new electrical safety report at the same time, and by the time the work was complete I had a sense that he had matched the existing issues against the tests for the new safety report in a clear and unambiguous manner. Muhammad was extremely polite and gentle to deal with but fully professional and knowledgeable, and patient, when explaining any items to me. He quoted a very good price for the job and carefully stuck to that quote. He arrived on the day agreed in a very timely fashion and then took care of all that needed to be addressed. All the items worked perfectly afterwards and his new certificate issued, which enabled us to complete the sale of the flat. I would certainly hire Muhammad again for another electrical job, if he had availability.

First of all I am a professional landlord. I needed to find a new electrician as my last one that had I had been using for the last 12 years was becoming painfully unreliable. In the past I would only use NICEIC electricians. The quotes I received from mybuilder.com were from one extreme to the other extreme. For some reason I decided to take on Mehdi from M F Building Services, it may have been because he was registered with Napit & that he did not have any feedback what so ever, my thinking for this was I'm sure he is going to be good & reasonable to get on the ladder with feedbacks. His quote was not the cheapest but fair. He produced his badge and insurance both of which I have copies for my records. (I also checked him out with Napit registration.) In the past I would only use NICEIC electricians but I have read about Napit and have seen it growing over the last few years. Anyway back to the job and feedback for Mehdi . His price was accepted for the job. Mehdi gave me a date and time and arrived 10 minutes early. The job was completed and an invoice and Napit minor works certificate supplied. After this I asked Medhi if he could do an electrical safety test for one of my properties that was becoming due. Again date and time was kept and the test carried out and a Napit Safety Certificate supplied. As a person/electrician he is friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. I have today given his number to one of the managing agents that I deal with.
