I would highly recommend Steve, he was fast, efficient and very tidy. Steve is a great bloke, as was his colleague Liam, he is very professional and informative and also competitive with his pricing. In addition to above he also fitted an electric oven and hob and also a smoke alarm, I have worked with many tradesman and Steve is 100% one which will carry out more work on more refurbs for me. Not the best at communicating, needed prompting a couple of times. EICR was done and rated as unsatisfactory, advising several remedial works to be done. This purpose built flat by St George is not old and had successful EICR done previously so I was quite surprised by this report. The invoice was paid immediately and transaction details sent but I still received a message a few days later for payment!

As I manage quite a few properties around the country, I have used quite a number of tradesmen on Mybuilder over the years and most of them are quite good but Ouael is outstanding!!! He is definitely one of the finest electrician and tradesman I have ever dealt with. He’s super-responsive, understanding and the quality of his work is top-notch. I first used him in December last year when he was about the only person who’d respond swiftly to an emergency call during the Christmas period. Since then I have called him twice on a different property to correct the poor lazy job of other tradesmen because he’s so reliable and doesn’t take the lazy option but the best cost-effective solution for the client. I would rather selfishly not give him a review so that he doesn’t get too busy when I need him but he actually just made my day so I thought I’ll do a public service by letting people know what a gem of tradesman this guy is. Trust me - you better count yourself lucky if he accepts to do a job for you!

At the end we could not move the ccu due to regulations, but Ali has advised us accordingly and replaced the ccu as expected. The job was done professionally and on a day as agreed. Ali has so far did couple other electric jobs for us and we will call him in the future when needed. Highly recommend Ali for his professionalism!

The installation of the extractor fan and repalcement fuses in DB were done in a shabby fashion. I had to have remedial work done for the extractor fan and called the boss of the remediate the fuse 'sitting' within the DB. More worringly is that the humidistat extractor was installed to work only with the light switch. So for a shower room without a window, this has led to the build up of mould over time. Will have to get another electrician to install properly
