There were two large circular lumps of cracked tarmac on our drive caused by conifer tree roots. John removed the tarmac and substrate from the from the area, cut out the offending root then replaced the substrate and supplied new tarmac for the area. This was then compressed with a petrol 'whacker plate' . The job was completed in a tidy manner by a competant experienced worker. Excellent from start to finish (almost). I say almost because there is a job they couldn't quite complete due to a roof leak 🙈. They are coming back to do the remaining job when the roof is repaired. John's a very nice decent man who won't add work to make money and can do almost anything (except roofing 😂). The people he brings to work with him are also knowledgeable and lovely. A few ugly extras reared their head during the process (extra damp) and it was dealt with by them without stressing me out. I have recommended them to my sister and I will have then back when I move later in the year.
