Horrendous! Where do we start - this was supposed to be an exciting life long dream for us which turned into nothing less than a living nightmare. Firstly, Anthony lied about employing his own team of 'professional' tradesmen, they were all sub-contractors who quite clearly had very little respect for Anthony Andrews when talking with them, now we know why! His so called team only put in 1/2 a day's work most days whilst constantly on their phones, hence the build taking double the time to do the shoddy job we have been left with which is still unfinished to date. We have not seen Churston Builders for several months now and our emails ignored. We are left with rain pouring in through the bifold doors due to serious structural issues, something Anthony was notified by his window fitter but chose to ignore. Drains blocked from grouting being swept down our outside drains and setting like concrete. A dangerous balcony unfit for use, water pouring in from the underfloor heating system straight into the electrics, a new expensive bathroom with a dreadfully fitted shower surround, and bath taps that leak. This is only a tiny list of the horrendous workmanship so I will be putting full details on social media with videos/photos as I am sure Anthony will remove this before anyone can read it. We paid well over £200,000.00 for this and we still have around £20,000 to put right the cock ups and finish incomplete work. BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU'RE CONSIDERING CHURSTON BUILDERS.

P&J Construction recently completed my dormer extension. I had not had any work from the company previously locating them online. Their quote was realistic and value for money. My considerations when using builders are; 1. That they're close to their quote 2. That they're punctual & polite 3. That they clean up 4. That they're security conscious 5. They complete the work to a high standard I can say that P&J completed all of the above. Alex provided me a quote for the work & time of when the work could start. They turned up nice & early throughout the build so we could discuss what work would be carried out that day before i went to work. Due to bad weather they also worked long into the evening, worked weekends or simply got wet. They continued to graft through wintery conditions & surpassed my expectations. They created more floor space than what the architect suggested. When removing the roof they identified poor work left by previous builders and righted all wrongs. They had cleaned up after themselves and on completion of work they cleaned all areas of where they had worked which was highly appreciated. They were very polite to my wife and children and they were professional throughout. They always locked up after themselves and made sure all windows were locked. Best of all, the work came in at exactly what they quoted. Overall I am extremely pleased with the finished product.

This company needs to remove the words"reliable" and "top quality from their profile description. I could not get them back to remedy problems. Bad workmanship on front wall relaying of coping stones, could see daylight underneath and both came off. Tarmac hole appeared in new drive after 24 hours of being laid. This has cost me another £100 and part of the work I will have to tackle myself. NO aftercare, voicemails left, messages sent, never spoke to owner or saw owner after he was paid and still cant get hold of him. Took my money which I borrowed from family, and then disappeared. Empty promises and no show to put things right. Disgraceful. They are all over it before the work then you dont see them if you have a problem. Im still waiting for my 100 pounds back and a return call from 36 hours ago.... Cant believe the treatment. Havent used the drive yet but if more goes wrong it wont surprise me. These are factual statements and I have photos as proof of my bad experience. Any comment left by the owner in response to this feedback saying they remedied the faults above will be blatantly untrue.

Ian was absolutely excellent, first class. I'm always a little bit apprehensive about using somebody I've never worked with for the first time, and this was a tricky problem which was difficult to diagnose. From the moment Ian arrived on site, I felt comfortable that he really knew what he was talking about and really cared about getting the resolution that I needed. It's fair to say that watching Ian work is a little bit like watching a magician work. Quite how he worked out where the leak was in our field is a little bit beyond me, but he absolutely nailed it, was able to solve a problem that nobody else was able to solve, and then went above and beyond, spending many hours on the phone with the local water authority to get my problem issued, get people out to site and diagnose and admit fault. Ian did all of this without any prompting from me and kept me informed and up to date at all times. He's a super nice guy too. I couldn't recommend Ian more.
