From first contact to getting the driveway done James was brilliant. James and his team are a great bunch of guys and their work is extremely professional. Nothing was a hassle for them and answered any questions we asked. The team are very respectful of the neighbours. Our street was pretty tricky for access but again the team managed it no problem. I’d highly recommend James and his team.

Job hired for was installing concrete base for summer house back of garden as well as running pipe for electric cable this meant lifting a number of slabs and relaying them all work carried out neat and tidy. Excellent preparatory groundworks by Michael and his crew, followed by a first class surfacing job by the Whyte and McFarlane team on a large and awkward work site. They all turned up as per the schedule and worked diligently until resurfacing complete. Full 100mm finished depth, well rolled and compacted to give a crease free surface. They also tidied up fully after works completed. I have no hesitation in recommending Whyte and MacFarlane and their support contractor MC Groundworks for similar works.

Great job by Mark planting a new laurel hedge in my garden. He came out to look at the job (turned up on time), gave me some good advice and managed to get a great price for the laurel from his suppliers. When it came to planting, he let me know when he could do it, turned up when he said he would and did a great job planting the new hedge.
