I was delighted with the result, it definitely needed the right equipment and skills and Raymond and his team made light work of it. KD DRIVES LTDTarmac Driveway Company in Ballymena151 review ** update 11/08/24 Weeds growing up through the tarmac - what a shit job! A cowboy company that fraudulently lays cheaper (bitmac/AC10) tarmac badly, using wheelbarrows & rakes. They quoted & I signed a contract to pay for more expensive SMA at a depth of 3½ to 4 inches (85-100mm) but then laid cheap bitmac to a thickness of 30-40mm, so badly it had to be dug up and dumped. They left it so that rain water drained towards our house instead of towards the drains! After legal action was commenced, and an expert had completed a survey & analysis at our solicitors request, and trading standards were informed, they then re-laid cheap bitmac 30-40mm, as a base coat. However, KD Drives would only begin to redo work if I discarded the initial "contract/quote" and signed a new revised contract.... BEFORE they would redo the job! Please... AVOID KD DRIVES LIKE THE PLAGUE If you believe they've laid SMA driveway for you at exorbitant cost, then you have probably also been fooled.

After agreeing a price promptly carried out repairs but told me to hold back a third of agreed price until i was happy their work and repair was effective.
