Great team of lads that always turned up when they said they would. Always early and worked 'til late to complete the job and even in the rain. The whole project was excellently managed leaving nothing for us to worry about. Behzad and his team have done a fantastic job on our driveway and relandscaping the garden and left everything clean and tidy at the end of each day and even hosed down the outside pavement and road on the last day. Wouldn't hesitate to have them back for other future projects and would definitely recommend them. A job well done. Thank you very much.

Job now complete and what a transformation. Cannot fault the professionalism of the lads, their attention to detail and skill. I had no idea what layout/design would work best so it was discussed and I was sent a sketch. After some minor tinkering the lads cracked on. Though we were lucky with the weather, they arrived early and just got on with it all day. Sloping garden was levelled, sleepers installed, steps created and patio extension flagging, all done. Lawn was turfed with precision. I was working from home during the works and was hardly disturbed, if at all. They looked after the ordering of materials, a skip (even ensuring wooden boards were placed down under the skip to protect my driveway...again professional and attention to details), turf, the lot. Slick process from start to finish. I would highly recommend Alpha Groundworks. A*, 10/10. Thanks lads. Job well done. Paul.

I requested 4 quotes as recommended and although Tom was the busiest and most expensive, my gut feeling told me that he would be reliable, a perfectionist and someone that I could work with. I was correct in my initial assessment and he started the job on time on the 8th January 2021. The workers were extremely hard-working and polite and Tom oversaw all of the work keeping in constant communication. He even suggested some further improvements which I agreed to and made the final product so much better. Nothing was too much trouble. He even had Carl working on a Sunday to lay the paving because the weather had affected progress, but he kept it as a surprise. I was floored when I was contacted to come and have a look on Monday morning. The driveway looks fantastic, especially after having to change to a Plan B because of legal problems buying a piece of land (Plan A) making the driveway an awkward shape. It is dark grey block paving with single and double red brick borders. Lots of people have stopped and taken pictures and enquired about the work. The bungalow looks so much better now and it has given two badly needed parking spaces. Would I recommend Tom Smith and Hollybush? Yes a million times over. Thank you very much Tom. :)
