Oli carried out the groundworks and demolition at my property and was on site every day with his crew, fully committed and hands-on throughout the job. I am an architect, and this was work on my own home, so my expectations were high. Oli met those expectations fully. He has a strong knowledge of groundworks and demolition, works carefully and methodically, and you can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does and takes real satisfaction in delivering the work exactly as required. He was always in a good mood, easy to communicate with, and a pleasure to have on site. I enjoyed discussing the project and hearing about other jobs he has completed over his 23 years of experience, which clearly shows in the quality of his work. We recently had block paving work completed and overall we are pleased with the finished result. However, there were a few aspects of the experience that could have been handled better. The job was initially discussed as taking around four days, but it was completed in two. While efficiency can be positive, it did feel rushed towards the end, particularly on the final day. As a result, some details were not finished as expected. There were also a number of changes on the day that we had not anticipated. For example, the ACO drains were not installed as discussed, and the gutter hopper installation that had been agreed initially was later changed. Additionally, some walls were left dirtied during the process, and the overall tidiness of the site could have been better. In summary, the end result looks good and the paving itself has been completed to a solid standard.
