Excellent! The bathroom looks amazing. I couldn’t be any happier. A very professional tiler, and a great work ethic. He went out of his way to ensure the job was done well and worked very late to ensure a quality finish. I would definitely use him again. He went out of his way to ensure I was happy with everything. He also gave me ideas which has made it look even better, he suggested a different colour grout to what I was originally going to go for and I agreed as he was the professional and it’s made it look even better than imagined. First class.

From start to finish I was very impressed and pleased with the finial outcome of my paved area. I had an area of approx 30m². I thought the quote provided was very reasonable and affordable. I’m extremely happy with and their work on my project. They built my rear extension with such excellent quality that I asked them to do my first-floor and side extensions too. They went above and beyond to meet my expectations, always helpful and really experienced telling me and explain during the work explaining what they doing, why they doing and assuring everything is spot on for the building control officer and also ensuring top-notch quality. They even left their mixer for me to use and never complained, even when working in the rain—the quality remained impeccable. They also installed the finishing 4x2 timber, making it easy for me to connect the flat roof. On top of that, their pricing was the best I could find, without compromising on quality. The work was spot-on, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing reliable and skilled bricklayers. Thank you for an excellent job!

Bakers Building services have been exceptional throughout the entire project to complete a single story extension on our Victorian terrace in Colchester. Jamie has been easy to talk to and open to all of our ideas when other builders dismissed them. He has also communicated well and kept us informed of timelines and delays with building works. He was also very thoughtful with our neighbours during the build as we have shared assess through their garden so he was always ensuring that they were happy and the site was kept tidy. Jamie has amazing attention to detail and was quick to address any of our concerns throughout the building process. His team have also helped with things not in their remit, like helping get the range cooker in to the house and assisting with cleaning our parquet flooring blocks to help us lay the floor. We have got an amazing extension thanks to Jamie and his team so they are highly recommended and I know they will be in much demand, judging by the amount of neighbours we have had asking to see his work with a view to extend their own properties. Star Builder and we are looking to having him and his team back to further renovate our property when we tackle the first floor

Patrick and his gang have a competitive quote for the work described and we hired him on that basis. As soon as we hired him he stated he had underquoted and asked if we could possibly pay a bit more. We were a bit surprised but we agreed provided we would get a good job. The job went ahead and it was completed to nothing more than a reasonable standard. The fencing was excellent but the flagging left a lot to be desired for supposed groundworkers. We did pay Patrick in full but it was only when it rained we realised our mistake. Water gathered all down the side return of the property in a large pool. We contacted Patrick and he came back to look. He then agreed to fix the area he felt responsible for but not what he was actually responsible for. Again we accepted and he promised he would be in touch. Of course we never heard from him for some time until he finally contacted us to say it would be better if we found someone & he would give us £100 towards the materials. We had no choice. We have now finally had it fixed and Patrick has gone missing. No contact, no £100 and no repair. I wouldn't recommend these groundworkers.

Adam and Lee with his team have recently completed our driveway-which looks absolutely amazing which has completely transformed the front of our house. It was a large job, with a few hiccups to overcome, as is common on a large project, but they didn’t stop until everything was resolved. We are really pleased with the work that Adam, Lee and his team have done! They always took on board any comments we made or any tweaks we made over the job. All the crew were very helpful and treated us with respect. We have no complaints about the job and it was a delight having them all around. We would highly recommend them! Thank you so much Adam, Lee, Rick (who worked especially hard) and all the boys at ARH builders.
