What equipment do you use during the survey?

Damp surveyors often use specialist tools to properly detect hidden moisture behind walls or under your floors. Ask if they use moisture meters, hygrometers, or thermal imaging cameras so you are getting a detailed review of your property.

Can you provide a clear, written quote?

Before the job begins, make sure you understand exactly what the damp surveyor in Soho is charging for. Ask for a written quote that outlines the cost of the damp investigation, the final report, and any additional fees, so you aren't caught out by any unexpected charges later.
