We have many long term excellent reviews going back many years, mainly on Yell. We are one of the longest trading preservation firms in the North East, in an industry where firms often disappear or change their names. We cover most of the North East including Newcastle (where we have had an office for over 10 years), Sunderland, Durham & coast. A good description of the issue , the age and type of the property, where the issue is in the property and any other info along and if possible Photos of issue you may have, will help us greatly in deciding if we can help. Landlords only please note. We do work for many good landlords and many become good friends who we always try and help. However The laws regarding Damp and Mould for landlords and tenants are changing and due to increased demand for visits, advice and written reports that could end up as part of legal cases, and we may charge a fee for this service now. Happy to discus this prior to any meeting though.
Excellent choice for a complicated couple of jobs. And old terrace where Phil's expertise proved invaluable to solve problems caused by previous ineffective damp proofing and damp roofers. Phil and George kept me updated at all stages and stood by the original competitive quote, despite lots of issues they uncovered. 100% recommended.

Similar to Stanley review 2 Nov 2024. Landlord don't trust him if you are not around to monitor works. He charged exorbitant for the works but not done to standard. Some were left despite quoted for it in his invoice. I have to call him back on many occasions to get works done. He took tenant spare keys and I been have communicating with him to return keys and to refund money but he failed to do so. He claimed he was very busy to complete works then he said he lost his mum similar to previous excuses of family issues. Mr Joe is not honest and trustworthy to work in your property unsupervised especially if you are busy landlord . He will take advantage of it. He was meant to meet me at the property after but failed to do so knowing what he has done. Very crafty. You charged me £4500 for works that worth less and then not done to standard. He took money but works were not completed, lesson learned not to trust tradeperson from "My Builders"

We used Dave to plaster a few rooms as we have worked through a renovation of our home (bedroom, hallway/stairs/landing and kitchen extension). We found Dave to be extremely knowledgeable and able to offer advice on the projects when needed. Dave was also accurate in his initial assessment of the scale and cost of the job. Dave manages his team well and all work was finished within the time-frame indicated. Our work was completed with care and precision. We remained in the property during the works and Dave and the team took care to prevent dust trailing through the house and also ensured that the workplace was left as clean and tidy as possible at the end of each day. We have been very pleased with all of the work completed (hence our repeat business), and I would not hesitate to recommend Dave and his team to anyone considering a similar project.Latest review:
