Prompt reply and good communication. What the job entailed was explained well and a quote arrived promptly following a visit. The damp proof work was completed the following week. Paul is a very friendly chap, was easy to arrange a visit to the house where he quickly diagnosed the issue. I cannot believe these cowboys are still in business. They did extensive restoration work on my property and when giving me a quote nothing seemed out of their capability. Except Matty Steer the one who comes to see you failed to mention that all of the work would be sub-contracted out and obviously to the cheapest 'tradespeople' who did a far from satisfactory job. He also has a habit of forgetting what was included in the quote expecting you find additional funding. I also made the mistake of letting them fit my new kitchen. I had the work inspected by two experts, one from trading standards and one from the Guild of Master Carpenters who's report concluded that ' the work has been done to a very poor standard. You are well within your rights to ask them to return and put things right but from the work we have seen it would seem that they lack the necessary skills to do a better job'. The work took months to complete and they would ask for large sums of money every two weeks, obviously to fund the 'other job' they were working on. I wouldn't touch this lot with a bargepole and if you have any sense you wont either.Latest review:Damp Proofing-
