Sid will tell you he's 27 but a quick check on CH shows you he's 22 which may explain a lot of the below We hired Sid to install two En-suites and convert a small bedroom. He promised the work would take 3 weeks with consistent 8am-4pm workdays until completed. However, 4 weeks and 3 days on, the first En-suite is still incomplete. Sid frequently arrived late around 1030 each day and left around 3pm, communication was poor. We were often left waiting for contractors who didn't show up at all as scheduled, wasting our time. The electrician and plumber missed multiple appointments, leading to significant delays. To make matters worse, Sid took a last-minute holiday to Ibiza, and then missed another day after attending a festival, more delays. The final straw was when the carpenter didn’t show up as promised. We ultimately had to cut our losses and ask Sid to leave the project.

Get in touchAnt and Kenny worked there proverbial off carrying out this project. Our house fought them every step of the way but they always stayed positive. On site for 5 months we built a very honest working relationship. Not only did our house present unforeseen challenges so did COVID. Material lead times became longer because manufacturers had cut staffing levels so production was a casualty. Ant and Kenny, plus all their suppliers, did their utmost to soften the impact of all these problems. A project of this size was made more challenging by the fact my wife and I were in occupation throughout the project. We had minimum inconvenience and was never left without, water, heating or electricity. From main drainage to LED lighting and everything in between Ant and Kenny had it covered. Dealing with building control to structural engineers they got it covered. Anything that needed discussing was dealt with almost immediately and this potentially saved huge amounts of delays. By the end of the project they had become friends and we wish them all the best for the future. We would have them back in a blink of an eye and would recommend Ant and Kenny, Reece Builders Ltd. to anyone wanting committed tradesmen. Their work ethic is exemplary.
