This is the first time that I’ve ever left any negative feedback but on this occasion it’s needed. Liam was polite and professional when he first quoted for the work. When Liam turned up to complete the job we just left him to get on with the job. Unfortunately it wasn’t until he’d done & we’d paid him in full with a £50 bonus that we realised it wasn’t competed to what we’d been quoted for. We asked for chrome pipes & for the radiators to be above the floorboards not sitting on them. Liam agreed to move a few jobs around and come back the following week to put things right. We got the impression he wasn’t happy about & he certainly wasn’t as polite and professional when he returned. At first he didn’t want to change the copper pipe to chrome pipe and suggested clip on chrome pipes. After two hours Liam said that he couldn’t stop the valves from leaking and wanted to know what we wanted him to do. Obviously we had to ask what our options were. My options were: 1- having water coming out of all three valves. 2- Turn of the water that goes to the radiators. As we didn’t want water going everywhere we reluctantly agreed to have the water turned off. It was obvious that Liam had another job to to too and needed to leave. Liam made no attempt then or since to put things right. We’ve now been left with no heating in the living room and we’re now going to have to find another plumber put things right.
