I'm sorry to say that Aled isn't a competent plumber. Almost everything he had done has had to be re-done by another plumber. He come to re-instate 3 radiators that had been removed for building works. I'm doing so managed to cut off the hot water, 2 of the radiators were not fixed to the wall correctly, in fact one of them was hanging off and very dangerous and leaked on the new carpet as a result. Bathroom sink had not been connected properly and had a continuous leak. Aled came to fix it and it continued to leak. The second plumber told me it was because he used a boiler attachment to plumb in the hot water. He also didn't fit the waste at all, so when my tenants used the sink we had a significant amount of water all over the floor. He said that it was the joiners job to connect the wastepipe... Shower doors also not fitted correctly, had to be re-instated. Aled charged me £515 for the initial work. Brilliant service, turned up when he said he would, carried out the work (replacing valves/thermometers on 11 radiators) , made sure we were happy with the work and left everything tidy. he came round and fixed a toilet that was not flushing and solved it. I asked him to plumb a washing machine in upstairs, which was a priority, plus do some plumbing on two en suite showers I wanted. also to check why the upstairs radiators from the back boiler of my wood burning stove were not getting hot enough. He told me he would come round on Saturday, but I had to use my wood burner fire to hear the water so he could check the radiators.
