We had a new kitchen put in, new flooring, and also a number of DIY tasks such as curtain hanging around our house that Shaun from Alaska was brought on to complete. Absolutely all aspects of the work were exemplary - from the communication, to punctuality, politeness and respect, and the work itself. Everything was excellent. Shaun was quick to respond to messages, he was accommodating to our schedule, and managed the job perfectly. Where we needed to bring in specialists for things like gas, Shaun was able to lead and guide in those areas including helping us to locate the right quotes. The work itself was second to none, the quality of the finish and attention to detail is commented upon by everyone who visits our house. Shaun did not take any shortcuts in completing the work, and ensured that high quality ran through everything even as elementary as the parts that were used (as finely considered as selecting quality screws and nails!). As a result, our kitchen and floors look impeccable and feel premium. I have no hesitation in recommending Alaska, and have done so to close friends. Arriving to give a quote and more importantly when we agreed terms for the job he arrived on the day and rectified the issue with the original flooring and completed laying the new flooring professionally without any hassle.
