He gave helpful advice on what materials to get, and asked my advice on how I wanted the room to look, including figuring out a tricky bit around a metal fireplace! He truly showed professionalism that I had struggled as a guest house operator to get from handy people. He would go out of his way to satisfy. The finished redecorated room project was a masterpiece and took a little longer than planned because of the weather but he gave it his all! I am pleased I took a chance on him as there was no review on his profile when I hired him. I would however, pay attention to work and point out issues as they come up otherwise, you will have dirt and rubbish to content with as the workers leave all the mess after work.

I needed the work done quickly as a tread on my outsides stairs was rotten. Henri quoted for the job and it was completed the next day. The work was completed in a professional manner and I found Henri pleasant to deal with. He and his man brought all materials and tools which was very helpful. They left my property neat and clean after doing the work. I would hire Henri again should I need any further work doing.

Positively, certain aspects of the finishing, particularly tiling, were carried out to a good standard. However, the overall experience was mixed due to significant issues. There were notable challenges during the project involving basic logistics and site management, leading to considerable inconvenience that seemed avoidable. Furthermore, the quality of workmanship was inconsistent; while some parts were good, other areas involving fittings and fixtures showed a lack of attention to detail in the finish, requiring later adjustments. Communication during the process could also be difficult, particularly regarding problem-solving and planning for materials. While we appreciated the parts done well, the project was let down by these inconsistencies and process issues, leading to some ongoing snagging and disappointment.
