The work was completed swiftly and to a great standard. Biloldin predicted that it would take 2.5 days to complete and he stuck to that time frame. He without complaint navigated our disorganised and very full flat which we were in the process of painting and clearing. I would recommend BSK for fast and smooth service and a job well done. Thanks Biloldin.

Omar and his team have done a couple of things in my flat. Removed carpets and installed parquet, fixed door frames damaged by water, widened a door opening and several other unusual fixes. The colleagues he recommended also did all the wall fixing, painting and electrical works. In effect, they turned a slightly destroyed previously tenanted apartment in a new build into a beautiful new home. Omar is ingenious, very easy to communicate with and kind.

Hard Flooring- 21 Sep 2025
I recently had the carpets in my one bedroom Victorian flat replaced with laminate flooring in the living room and on the stairs, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Sajad completed the entire project in just three days and did an excellent job. It’s an old property with lots of tricky cuts and uneven dimensions, but he handled everything with precision and even trimmed down the doors to make sure the finish was perfect. The flooring looks amazing and has completely transformed the space. The only slightly time-consuming part was figuring out the right amount of materials to order, but Sajad was always quick to respond, sent me dimensions and gave me advice on where to buy from. He even offered to help me return the leftover materials for a refund. Overall, I would highly recommend him – he offers very reasonable prices, works efficiently, and delivers on time.

What practical training or hands-on experience do you have in floor fitting?

Many Mayfair floor fitters complete apprenticeships or training courses such as NVQ Level 2 in Floorcovering Occupations. This involves on-site assessment and practical work covering carpet, vinyl, wood, or laminate flooring installations.

How do you prepare the floor surface before fitting?

A local Mayfair floor fitter should explain how they assess and prepare the subfloor, removing old coverings, cleaning and levelling the surface, and addressing any issues to ensure a smooth, long-lasting flooring installation in your Mayfair property.

Can you share examples of previous floor fitting jobs you’ve done in Mayfair?

Hearing about local work helps you understand a prospective Mayfair floor fitter’s familiarity with different floor types and challenges common in the area, such as moisture control or uneven flooring. Take a look at their MyBuilder profile, as they may have images of their previous works on there.

Will you provide a clear, detailed quote for materials, labour, and any additional costs?

A transparent quote allows you to know exactly what you’re paying for. It’s also useful to ask how a floor fitter in Mayfair will account for any unexpected costs if any issues arise once the work is underway.
