I recently hired Stagy Building Services to repair a wall prior to tiling, and the entire experience was extremely disappointing. I had specifically asked for photo updates of the repairs and progress, but none were provided. When questioned, the trader first told me he had used skimming, but when I pointed out that skimming requires a 24–48 hour drying period, he changed his explanation to quick-dry filler—something never agreed upon. A plasterboard repair should look presentable on its own, but the result I received did not reflect that standard. Please see before and after pictures. On top of this, my bath panel ended up damaged, and the trader tried to shift the blame onto my tenant, which I found incredibly unprofessional. Based on my experience, the work did not appear to be carried out with care, honesty, or reliability. I do not consider this trader credible, and I would strongly avoid them at all costs. If I could give a negative star rating, I would.

Unfortunately, cant give feedback on Marti, planned the job some time ago and Marti was very responsive. Checked in with Marti 2 days before the job to see if he's still good for it, didn't hear so chased the following day, said he was good to go and apologied for late reply. Morning of job, 10 mins after agreed start time received a message that his car was broken down on the A12, asked a couple hours later progress and Marti asked to reschedule for the following weekend, so credit to him. Just disappointed that we had this scheduled for a long time, reliability is important to me and sadly Marti was let down by his car which isn't ideal for all of us here.
