WASTE OF TIME! AVOID! (see timeline of event below). 30th January: Gave me a quote to change hallway laminate to new one & I agreed to his proposal and start date (8th) 8th February: Kian was booked to start the job which he said will take 2 days. HE NEVER TURNED UP & I waited all day at home for him. 9th February: He called and left a voicemail requesting for me to call him as he had an emergency. I called and he initially said he had to had an emergency & then halfway into the call, he said the clutch of his car had a problem and he needed to sort it out. He promised to get it sorted by the 20th and he will start the job to change my floor on the 22nd of February and the change will take 2 days. I decided to give him one more chance and accepted. 22nd of February: He never turned up and he did not call me with an update. Now I have to get someone else to do this job. In summary, don’t waste your time giving Kian your job to do as he is UNRELIABLE, & will waste your time!

Installed the wrong flooring initially and took almost a year to correct it, causing major disruption and putting my tenancy at risk. The property was left in a poor state with no proper clean-up, requiring professional cleaners, and materials were left in a communal area overnight, raising safety concerns. More recently, after moving furniture, further issues have come to light. Incorrect floorboards remain and appear to have been concealed, and there is evidence of poor-quality joinery hidden behind furniture. After raising these concerns, communication became inappropriate and distressing. I received accusatory messages attempting to place blame on me, along with comments questioning my character and how I “sleep at night.” The tone was aggressive, intended to intimidate, and felt threatening rather than professional. Given they have had access to my home, this behaviour made me feel unsafe. Reported to the platform. Would not recommend.

Really great guy who did a superb job. We supplied the flooring and his initial quote and guess of how long the job turned out to be a bit optimistic (not his fault - the flooring had been in storage a while and was hard to lay.) Nonetheless he was going to honor the original quote (itself very reasonable) though we insisted he take a bit more since he had to come back a second day and instead of a day the whole job took more than half a day more. He is polite, positive, and clearly something of a perfectionist...he relaid one of the boards on the second day because of an imperfection which we hadn't even noticed.Communication was always good and he turned up when he said he would - even when he had to return to complete the job. Based on my experience I would recommend him enthusiastically.

I just wanna express honest with you I met up with Mr John on two occasions and I told him everything I want confirmed we confirmed the price he sent us a spreadsheet but later on confirmed a figure once that was done he said send pictures. I’ll get the items for you and will get everything done for you in a time which was originally 2weeks . Then 2 month and half later he ignore my calls very unprofessional and has outstanding task he left and still not even correct , I am not able to go in to all the details but I tell you for free how I’ve been treated for the last few weeks mentally draining and for example he said let’s get his electrician because he needs the person doing the work side-by-side and if I’m honest, they’ve done nonsense because the media where the plug is is not correctly positioned in fact, the TV does not go in properly as they positioned it in the wrong place they didn’t check where the TV was meant to go initially I have to sort this out myself. My request for replacing all my guttering and down pipe was on a very tight deadline and needed to be completed within 2 weeks as my house was going on the market. Steve contacted me within the hour of placing my ad and 2 days later came to give me a quote for the works (which included showing me choices of different shapes of guttering, which I had no idea existed!). Despite other work commitments, the works were done the following week. Steve arrived early and completed the work that day, which was well within my deadline. The professionalism and workmanship are second to none. The old guttering and debris were also taken away. My window sills were also cleaned! I would highly recommend Steve and would certainly use him for any future projects I may have. He clearly knows his trade, he's a very nice chap and a family man. Thank you!
