Extremely Disappinted with Planetium Construction- I hired Planetium for a 59k renovation job. Initially, the workmanship was acceptable only because I supervised closely and had them redo substandard work multiple times. However, before the job has been complete, I discovered already a roof leak in the master bedroom, direcly under the newly renovated bathroom. Despite my repeated requests, Planetium refused to take responsiblity or fix the issue. Just telling me need additional charges for the work. Worst still, Adrian the owner, demanded I pay the final balance of 1840 before they would address the GF heating which stopped working after they installed the new controller. When I reasonably refused to pay before they complete the job , Adrian swore at me over the phone the most offensive language. Furthermore, they promised to replace a new Miele microwave for the one they damaged during installation but now just walked away. Leaving me unresolved issues and additional repair cost!

Orlando and team were absolutely incredible, I can’t recommend them more highly. They built a bookshelf, repaired some tiles around a radiator and painted my hall and wooden stairs, as well as some doors. They did a beautiful and careful job (there was ALOT of prep work needed on the walls prior to painting), were brilliant at communicating, always on time to the nearest minute and generally a 10/10 experience (and I’ve had some bad ones). I was nervous due to them being new to My Builder with only a few reviews, but they provided me with email references, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Thank you Orlando and team! You really were brilliant. 5 stars all round.

Luke and Diti are both amazing guys for this project. Honestly speaking they aren't the cheapest quote, but they are definitely beyond expectations. Luke was the only builder who gave a full transparent quote on each item and what was needed for the conversion. Really quick work and good planning because I have 2 cats and they did everything with enough people onsite to minimise the time. Speaking of work, it is good, we kept in communication and they were always happy to explain and adjust slightly according to my concern/question. Leave this comment after the work has been done for few months and everything is solid.

The work was carried out to a very high standard and I have received compliments from neighbours and local people at how wonderful the wall looks. I found NLBS very courteous and professional. Positively, certain aspects of the finishing, particularly tiling, were carried out to a good standard. However, the overall experience was mixed due to significant issues. There were notable challenges during the project involving basic logistics and site management, leading to considerable inconvenience that seemed avoidable. Furthermore, the quality of workmanship was inconsistent; while some parts were good, other areas involving fittings and fixtures showed a lack of attention to detail in the finish, requiring later adjustments. Communication during the process could also be difficult, particularly regarding problem-solving and planning for materials. While we appreciated the parts done well, the project was let down by these inconsistencies and process issues, leading to some ongoing snagging and disappointment.

I was hesitating about leavening feedback for a long time, but in the end decided to do it. I hired Anton for the job and when he came round I unfortunately was very unwell running high fever, so wasn’t entirely with it. Anton didn’t fix the tap but simply found another way I could run water in the bath (which was already there). He charged me £400 for simply showing me how to open another tap. If I were well, there’s no way I would have paid him so much money. Another plumber came round since and fixed the problem for £180. All I can say I’ve felt de-frauded.
