Tom answered my request for quote quickly and was up front about not having worked with cork infill before, which was what I thought I had wanted. He came round to have a look and chat and to price up the job. He proposed a couple of good alternative (to cork) solutions, we agreed one and then he gave me a written quote which was solid. Tom gave me an indication of when he could start & how long it would take, to be confirmed and did a good job keeping in touch to let me know when he indeed would start the job. He arrived on time, did exactly what he said he would,how he said he would and tidied up after each day. I found his work to be clean and precise - just what I wanted. I particularly appreciated that he used his experience & shared his thoughts with me openly such that I considered and made a small design change to my plans. The result is excellent and far better than I was able to come up with on my own. I will call Tom again for other work as I have it and I recommend him without hesitation.

Rafa did a fantastic job of replacing my breakfast room/kitchen floor. He had to lift the sub floor and strengthen all the joists ensuring that they were structurally sound and without squeaks. He then laid a fresh sub floor in the kitchen and laid the finish using Novocore rigid vinyl flooring. Then replaced the skirting boards. His craftsmanship is excellent, as is his manner. He involved me in every step of the way. Timekeeping was great. Without doubt he was the most pleasant workman I have ever had in my home of 35 years. I shall be using him again, and would recommend him to anyone.

We had been struggling for around 6 months with another contractor we found on here who due to his personal circumstances was unable to complete the work. We hired Gary to finish the job off and he was a breath of fresh air. Highly professional, communicative and diligent throughout. A month or so after the job had completed I cheekily sent him a text to see if he could help me work out an issue I was having with an insulator valve and he texted back straight away to make sure I got it sorted out. Cannot recommend highly enough.
